BOC Davao intensifies efforts with CIDG XI in the implementation of LOA’s on Sugar Warehouses

The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao conducted a coordination meeting with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) XI on September 2, 2022. The said meeting aims to strengthen border protection in their shared areas of responsibility.



BOC Davao District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria represented by Atty. Dante A. Maranan, Deputy Collector for Operations, Atty. Vicente V. Yutangco Jr., Deputy Collector for Assessment and Atty. Mohammad M. Ben-Usman, Chief, Law Division and Deputy Collector for Administration discussed matters on law enforcement, especially the R.A. 10863 or the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act, as well as other existing customs rules and regulations.


Together with other Law Enforcement Agency, CIDG XI will also provide assistance in the implementation of Letter of Authority (LOA) against sugar warehouses issued by BOC Acting Commissioner, Yogi Filemon L. Ruiz.



BOC Davao through the supervision of District Collector Atty. Austria under the leadership of Commissioner Yogi Filemon L. Ruiz, will not waiver its border security efforts against the smuggling of goods to prevent revenue leakages and protect the country against contrabands.
