The Bureau of Customs (BOC), Port of Davao has exceeded its December 2020 revenue collection target two days before Christmas Day. More significantly, it has already reached its annual target as early as October 28, making it the first Collection District in the entire country to do so.
As of date, December 23, the Collection District XII composed of the principal port in Davao and its sub-ports in Dadiangas, Parang and Mati have collected a total of Php 30,127,888,901.59 or 22.15 percent higher than its assigned annual target. The excess over the assigned target is Php 5,464,158,967.21.
Collection District XII of the Port of Davao will remain open and fully operational for the remaining working days of December 2020, to ensure that it raises much-needed revenues for the government to be able to address the continuing health emergency crisis. ###
