The Bureau of Customs (BOC), Port of Davao, distributed care packages to five charity organizations in Davao City—House of Hope for Cancer Patients, Co Su Gian, (Home for the Aged), CIC-Balay Dangupan, and Lingap Center for Mentally Challenged Children. The care packs contained among others, sanitary and disinfectant kits, food packages, and personal hygiene necessities.
This is in lieu of celebrating the annual Christmas party where instead of the usual gathering, the Port distributed care packages to the 214 residents from the five charity homes last December 23, 2020.
Also, the said activity is part of BOC Davao’s observance to COVID 19 safety protocol such as restricting the holding of parties during the Christmas holidays, as prescribed by the IATF and the City Government of Davao to help control the spread of the coronavirus 2019. ###
